Anti-panic function
A door with an anti-panic function can always be opened from the inside, even if it is locked from the outside. This is important for safety in case of fire or other emergencies: you don't need a key to escape.

Anti-panic function B = inside and outside a door handle
Anti-panic function E = inside a door handle, outside a fixed knob or no handle
Anti-panic function EK = outside a fixed knob or no handle, but can be electronically controlled and opened remotely

Mounting holes
Check carefully whether the screw holes are in the middle of the strike plate (symmetrical) or off-center (asymmetrical).

Type of auxiliary lock
There are different types of auxiliary locks. Always check which type you have:

bolt/hook
latch
only a hook
one or two bolts per auxiliary lock

Measurements
Carefully check the backset (the difference can sometimes be less than one millimeter!).
Also pay attention to the distance between the center of the handle hole and the center of the latch or hook.
